Motorcraft alt. on a Farmall M

I recently purchased an M that the previous owner had cobbled a ford alternator on. The alternator charges so I made a bracket to mount it on there better but the wiring is pretty hacked up. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for this or know what the terminals are on back of the ford alternator. Every diagram I found on here is for a delco or hitachi alternator.

Assuming you are using the Ford alternator from the 70s-80s, just Google "Ford alternator wiring diagram". A few good diagrams will be shown.

Kruse is correct, they are a bit more complex but work as well. Looking it up is easy. Jim

Remember the wiring on a Ford alternator is a bit different depending if you use a charge light or an ammeter.
