super A grill and hood interchange ?

i have a super a in need of a grill shell and hood and was wondering if there are any other models the sheet metal will interchange ? thanks
 
The Farmall A, has the same exact tin, you can use a hood from a A, B, C, Super C, Super A. Grill can only come from Super A, Or A.

i think this is actually a 100 but i understand its the same as a super A , im looking at using this tractor on my place so being all original is not a big deal to me just so i can make it all match up before i do a little painting . also will the b model front shell and grill fit with mods ?
 
No, a "B" grill is different at the bottom.

A Super A and a 100 are very similar mechanically, but I don't know how far that carries over on the sheet metal. Been a while since I've looked over a 100 very closely.
 
If i recall correctly the 100 grill will NOT fit a Super A, the 100 has a larger radiator and thus a taller grill is needed. Will it bolt up to a Super A, perhaps but will not fit right at all.

It's important to know FOR SURE whether it's a Super A or a 100.

The grills are different.

The grill on a 100 is 2" taller than an A, Super A, or C.

You would need a grill off a Super A-1 (very rare) or a SUPER C to fit a 100.
 
serial # 357657R5 i think its a 100 after looking at some super a pics it doesnt have that ridge running down the side of the radiator shell and hood it also has holes where the farmall and 100 emblems were at one time.
 
357657R5 is a PART number.

The serial number will be on a separate tag that's riveted to the left seat support. This tag was originally shiny and silver, but could be painted over.
