I have a tractor with the serial # 226082-J, but when researching it, I still can't seem to find and additional info or pictures that match. I should add I have a parts # from the hydrolic box that is # 360719-R1. Any help would be much appreciated.

I thought I was close when I got to the cub #'s, but never got a pic to match, thx much...ok, so with that out of the way, does anyone have a round about $ for it in running, mowing condition witha 59" woods deck on it? I ask cuz my father in law dropped it off here in the fall, and I don't know if I want to give him the $800 for it.

Go to the ATIS Cub FAQs and scroll down to the serial list (question 13) to see a picture that matches. Other helpful stuff there as well.

Value depends mostly on condition and location. If it runs and mows, $800 should be a pretty conservative value. Look at question 10 of the Cub FAQ for some help on evaluating the tractor.

"Dating my International" reminds me of one of my youthful esperiences where I took my prom date to the dance.

My divorced mother had recently died and the executor had taken the Buick because it was stipulated in her will that it was to be sold.

That left me with only my 1947 KB-5 International for transportation. I cleaned it up and fiqured everything would be alright.

Somehow she managed to get a grease spot on the back of her volumnious yellow skirt. I didn't tell her but, of course, she found out later. Don't think we ever had another date.

I know the guys on this forum love their tractors but I was really concerned you were taking it way over the line by your subject title.
If the tractor is running smooth and no big leaks and in general good health it is worth $800. Condition, Condition, Condition.

It is a 1965 International (Farmall-style) Cub. Cub serial numbers are listed here:

http://www.ytmag.com/cgi-bin/snlookup.cgi?mf=IH&md=Cub

Other than the hood it is essentially identical to the classic Farmall Cub built from 1947 on.

It's worth $800, easy. I paid more than twice that for a Cub in similar condition.

As you can see, the good folks are full of information...and some other stuff. I"m still laughing, I see you are a "newbie" ask away for good info and the archive search provides a wealth of info. You best step up fast w/the $800 and welcome to this great site.

As of now it seems i have a leak from the manual steering box, and a small hole in the radiator that only steams when it's over 90 degrees out. So I having the radiator repaired, and was looking for date info so I could look into getting gaskets etc for the steering. Other than that, it treated me well all last summer mowing my 1 acre(yeah, lol).
