Cub Hood Holes

Anyone know the reason for the two holes in my Cub hood.
They look factory.

Just found out they are for oiling the generator.

Asking and answering your own questions! Kind of like talking aloud to yourself if you really think about it. Anyway...I think that question is #1 on the FAQ list over at farmallcub dot com. Which is where I first learned of it after puzzling about it a lot longer than you apparently did!
