Super A Rims And Tires

My Super A is going to need new tires and rims soon and I was thinking about upgrading the current 11.2X24 tires to something a little bit wider for better traction and I was wondering if wider rims are available for it and if anyone has any experience with using wider tires on a Super A.
Thanks, Derrick

yes you can put wider tires on the SA, if your going to 11.2's then you need 10" rims. I did this on my A and they look ' very right'.

11.2 is enough, the wider tires are also taller, meaning increased speeds, which will decrease the pulling power. That will cancel the traction. If you want more traction, add fluid and/or wheel weights.

I'm with CKNS. 11.2 is plenty big enough for a Super A. Any bigger and you will be complaining that it goes too fast and doesn't have any power.

The 140 might have different gearing for the 12.4 tires.
