Original Farmall H 9"x38" rims-what are they worth

My Father in law has a set of 9"x38" Original rims that he is wanting to sell. These are in excellent shape and have never seen calcium. There is not even any surface rust on the inside of the rims. These are not after market step-up rims but the tapered deep dish rims. I was wondering what these would be worth to someone restoring a tractor back to original equipment.

I believe orginally 9, 10, and 11 were offered. With 9's, you are limited in your tire size. Probably the most you can fit on would be 11.2x38s. But I could be wrong.

"worth" is difficult to define. They are worth what someone will pay. If I were in the market, and they are in "new" condition, I would guess $100 per. But you can't ship them easily, so you will probably be limited to local buyers.

Thanks guys. I know that there is not going to be a huge market for these but I am hoping we can catch some one that is trying for an expo--quality restore for their tractor. But like they say, It is worth what someone will pay for it. Any other ideas?

I would ask a minimum of $100 each. Someone who is doing a "correct" restoration on an early H, and wants to be correct with a pair of 10x38 or even 11.2x38 tires will need those 9" rims to make the tires stand up the way they should.

Aftermarket, 10" rims are priced at around $150 each or maybe higher. Nobody is making the 9" rims.
