1020 road rims

Hi All,
Does anyone know where one might obtain a set of road rims for a 1020, circa 1926? I need something for both front and back. It's on steel with the lugs removed from the back and the center steering strip removed from the front.
Thank you for any information you can provide.

for what it's worth, Miller Tire sells rubber lugs to replace steel ones for road travel. Not sure if that would work for you, but something to consider.

ps. they are NOT cheap.

I have also seen where guys have cut the tread of old tires and replaced the lugs with strips of tread. Actually, doesn't look too bad if you are precise in cutting. Old tires can be had cheap, and if you have a way to cut the tread neatly, should work out just fine. Your biggest investment will be in labor.......and finding enough tires with similar tread if you are so inclined.

IMHO.
