1066 remote levers

I am going to need to modify the length of the levers to make them longer and maybe angle them rearward so I do not have to lean forward so far. Was using a pull type land leveler yesterday and was hard to look out the back and lower rear windows while leaning forward. I think I have seen some posts on some custom aluminum ones that are longer and different angle but can't find the post in archives. Has anyone modified the stock ones? Any pictures and recommendations.

Those levers are a rod clamped at the bottom.

Leave the original rod alone and remove it.

Get a longer rod,5/8's diameter I think, clamp it in and bend it to desired place.

That way you always have the original to put back if needed.
