Finally got around to wiring my H. 4 position switch with cut out. Tractor turned off 6.2 Volts across battery terminals At high charge it reads 10.4 V and the amp meter is pegged. At low charge 9.2 V and amp meter at the first mark Does this sound right or is it over chaging

The amps will follow correct voltage!
On high charge with throttle 3/4 or more open, it should charge 7.2 to 7.5 volts
On Low charge it should do 6.8 to 7 volts. If the bat is fully charged.
With the bat charged, on High charge the amps will be about 7 to 9 with lights off, and 3 to 4 with them on.
On low charge the amps should be 3 to 4.

15 - 18 amps with the light switch on "H" and the engine running at full throttle.
