How is the crankshaft? If there are no oil passages in the casting I would weld or bolt on a patch with epoxy for a sealer and rebuild what you have. I know of several working engines with patched blocks with no problems. What are you planning to use this tractor for? By the way this question was maybe a week ago and I gave them the same advice.
