its a 5 bottom plow what do they go for if its in good shape

Isold a good 550 and a 710 to the scrap man last year! Most plows arround here on public sales don't bring much more than scrap!

Less than 200 bucks. Plows wont bring much at a sale.

Out here in western Coloradothis year,plows are at a premium. JD '4200' $2500,JD' 835' $1200.No IH plows

Don't scrap old IH plows, especially if they have Super Chief bottoms on them. At least take the bottoms off first.

All these "plow day" guys with Little Geniuses are gonna need replacement iron some day, and nobody's making it. Their only options are to scrap the plow or convert to Super Chief bottoms. That makes your old bottoms, regardless of the condition, pretty valuable.

You should be able to get $100 a bottom esay, which is way more than the scrap man will give you. Plus you have the rest of the plow to scrap when you're done if you want.

Just throw the bottoms up on here and craigslist.
