I have the clutch out of my 47 M (FBK125121X1) and it is not the clutch shown in the parts catalog. The parts catalog is showing an 11 inch Rockford for FBK 501 to 294707. The clutch I have is an 11 inch Auburn which is not shown in the parts catalog until FBK 229220. Does anyone know if the later model clutch is the same as the one I have and if so where can I find parts. All of the parts stores I have tried only have the Rockford clutch parts.

Thanks,
Dave

The Rockford is superior (but not dramatically) to the Auburn, so just go with the Rockford style Changing the T/O and pilot bearing as well, will do it proud. Jim

I believe so. take yours in to match it up. Make sure the flywheel step is to spec. (distance between the mounting flange and friction surface. Jim

The same flywheel was used from 501-281707. Note that in the description of the Auburn clutch, it says it interchanges with the Rockford.
