carburator problem

Sounds like a gas restiction inside the carburetor. Time for a good cleaning.
If you have a good flow to the carburetor make sure it is getting into the carburetor bowl.
 
Sorry to post over you Old. Sometimes I read to fast and not realize something was already said.
 
I tried all hints to no avail.
I removed carb,removed top and found that it was only about 1/2 full in float bowl.
Now I think not enough flow to carb.
New screen & gasket for sight bowl slow
fill of sight bowl.
How do I clean tank without tank removal?
 
The inlet to the carb (where the fuel line attaches) has a screen in it. THis screen needs to be checked. even the hole where the needle and seat of the float assembly needs to be checked for clean.
The tube leading into the sediment bowl is also prone to plugging. Running a wire up through it can help. Jim
