super c has noise in the front pulley area

the noise comes and goes. it varies from a metallic rattle to a sudden high pitched squeal. any help would be appreciated! thanks

sounds like the fan hub is worn out, check to see if you can wiggle the fan blades, if you can then theres your problem.

went out to the barn and gave the fan a wiggle and it has movement all the way back to the pulleys. so the problem is the fan hub? thanks

Could very well be a watr pump--or even a generator.

That will do it, but as Dave said check the water pump also, not as likely to fail though as the fan. You can buy a whole replacement hub, fan, pulley assembly for around 80 dollars, put one on my Super C a few years ago and have not had a trouble.
