IT Shop Manual

My Farmall I&T Shop Service manual is an old one ($6.00 price on the cover). It has 88 pages. Do newer copies have more pages?

I dont know about more pages. One reason is you didnt list the model. But a new I & T in a store like TSC will specifically say "If you have a previous version prior to this one... DESTROY IT!!!" There may be updates that do not require more pages in the manual; Just changes in the wording! I dont think I currently have one for Farmalls.

The only difference between your copy and a new one is the cost of college education for the publishers kids.

As a retired service mechanic. I am not to impressed with the IT manuals. They do have some good information. But they could be better. I have one for a MF 35 good for the beginner but not a real good manual.

I try to get the older ones on Ebay they have more information in them and they are usually cheaper

A lot of the newer manuals have more pages than the originals but they also include more models per book.

I&T manuals are intended for experienced mechanics like yourself, because you have the experience to fill in the blanks. I am definitely not experienced, but in some ways I like I&T better than the IH service manuals, they do complement each other.

Yes but somedays it is harder to fill in the blanks.
