I have been following your entrys with intrest.I hope we are helping to solve your tractor problems.thats whats we are here for.But I wonder,do you have any books;owners,service/repair,parts,others?If not,you NEED them,they are an invaluable rescourse,priceless!Ican tell you where to get them.Ihope I have not offended you,if so,Iappologise.Goodluck and HAPPY TRACTORING!

Not much reason to buy a parts manual anymore. It is the most expensive and CNH is putting them online now. Here is the website http://www1.caseih.com/northamerica/PartsService/Pages/search.aspx Print it off if you want to take it out to the shop and throw it away when it is all greasy and oily.
I have manuals from JenSales and Binder books (?) I like the later better. They are just like the originals. The JenSales were pretty expensive and are just photocopies of the originals in a plastic coiled binder. The later were built just like the originals and are easier to read.

The Case-IH site is excellent for a quick look-up, but it's just very hard to beat a printed book that you can study and flip the pages back and forth, compare part numbers, etc., and get a much better perspective on how all those items go together and work together.

Correct, I only use the online list when I am in the house and my books are in my shop, or cross referencing for tractors I don't have.

I still like books better than the computer.you can 'feel' the information,you dont have to print any pages,most importantly,you can take them out to the shop(or anywhere else).you can usually buy a full set for around 130 bucks.By far the cheapest and most important' accesory 'you can buy for your tractor.

You can always print them out. I just don't think I need a $50 printed copy of every parts manual. I can waste that money elsewhere
