Went and looked at serial number of industrial tractor today it is IAA106403 what can you tell me about it ? Has diamond front axle and foot throttle.

There is a serial number lookup on the left and I think it gives you the info on what the extra numbers/letters are in the serial number. I haven't looked at it in years.

Guy Fay also has a great line of books on Farmalls.
 
I thought you said it was a Super A, the number says 1944 International A as noted below. The tractor was typically used by highway depts for mowing, or any place else that needed a more sturdy tractor, thus the heavy duty front axle. I have never cared for foot throttles, except perhaps in road gear -- don't know what its intended purpose was. Otherwise the engine, transmission, ect are the same as the straight A. Could be worth "slightly" more than an ordinary A, but not much. Remember it is an International and not a Farmall. Usually yellow, but IH would paint what ever color the individual, state agency or business wanted. Some left the factory red.

I like a foot throttle on a loader tractor. It was also really handy when we were filling anhydrous wagons.
 
Well that being said the guy wants 1200.00 for it ,not for sure if I would not be better off finding a super A in better condition to restore to go along with my Super C.
