I have found 2-good 13.9 x 38 tires for my f400. The only question is my current tires are 6 ply these are 4 ply.
I would say the tractor gets moderate usage, tandem axle manure spreader and some field work. About 10 acres a year and then yard work. Probably gonna load the tires.
How well do ya think the 4 ply tires would hold up? Should I keep looking or would they be fine?

13.6 or 14.9 probably not 13.9 ;)

IDK about the ply deal. If I were actually farming with them I might want 6 plys. Tractor pulling I like 4 plys bc they are lighter. How much are they? What brand? How much tread? How much weather checking/damage? These questions all come to mind when I am looking at used tires. You are about $700 deep in new tires so I take it from there.

Woops 13.6 good shape minal checking or cracking. $400.00 comes with clamp on dual rims that are for a John Deere. So rims and tires $400.00. Price is right was just wondering about the ply strength.

Those clamp on dual rims have very little to almost NO value, so $400 for a pair of used and slightly weather checked tires MIGHT be a little high.
