Bought a 1944 yesterday.Model#A14,serial #8XX with correct A engine #95XXX. Has the standard style sheetmetal in decent condition. It has a hydraulic snowplow,4 speed transmission, solid steel rear rims with 9.5 x 24" rubber.Runs and operates well.I am wondering what it is worth and is anyone interested in it.

Worth depends on the condition. I'm assuming the one you have is not restored. Obviously these are one of the more desirable collector items. I have bought two and sold one over the past 10 years. I did a lot of work on the one I sold and ended up netting out about $300 not counting my labor. I will tell you the snow plow is not worth much. I still have the snow plow off the one I sold. The buyer did not want the snow plow and wanted to know the price without the snow plow. I told him price was the same with or without the plow. He bought it. If you decide to sell it I might be interested if the price is reasonable. I've still got those No. 45 baler parts you were interested in at one time.

I was given a model A-14, Serial no. AL884 for hauling it away. Nice little tractor, has 4 colors of paint, red, yellow, olive drab and Navy gray. It was used as a airport tug for the Navy. The engine needs replacing as there is water in one of the cylinders. Is the Farmall A engine the replacement for this tractor? I would guess that this tractor is worth a fair amount as they seem to be a bit rare. Could anyone help me as to what year this one is? There use to be a fellow keeping track of all of these tractors and this was NO. 40 in the UK and the US that he had located, but haven't heard anything from him for the past 10 years.

Where are you located and how much do you want for it?

Check the engine serial # .This will be a close indication.Mine has the engine serial # stamped on the dataplate underneath the steering wheel.

This isn't the classifieds

Vito,

Put in classified ad with: how much do you want and where are you located. Price you will get depends on ;location, condition, and how much somebody wants it.
