Oil contamination Farmall M?

I checked my oil in my New to me Farmall M and its oil was a color I've never seen before.

It is a tan/light brown color, it feels like oil and I've had it sitting in a jar for about an hour and it is not separating.

I just cleaned the oil bath filter and it looked like it had been a long time since it had been cleaned and was completely full of mud dobber nests (damn near clogged up) and the oil is the same color as the their mud nests. Could this be from that? I'm going to change the oil and see. The coolant isnt low and it is a clean tractor. It is also a propane tractor so that would be why the oil isnt black... Let me know what you veterans think!

Thanks

Is this out of the oil bath air cleaner or the
engine oil? if its out of the engine thats most
likely condensation, pretty much from sitting and
not being worked hard enough to burn out the moisture out of the oil. Just change it and run it
check it to make sure the level stays in the run
range.

Thanks Andrew, Thats what my Dad was saying too. Do you have any good leads on oil filters? IE Napa or any auto parts store?

Yup just run it, the only thing that i would check
to make sure its coming up to operating temp. If the
thermostat has failed and stuck open then its hard
for them to get above 120 degrees. easy fix and
about 20bucks to fix. As for the filters, napa and
advanced auto carry them. You can get them off this
site as well.

Yeah I dont know how long it was sitting in the shed before I picked it up, She runs great, I'm going to change the oil and filter and go from there!

Thanks guys
