Mower archive search AND Hugh MacKay contribution

Good morning folks. Last evening I was searching the archives using "IH rotary mowers" "IH mowers" among others. Not a lot to be gleaned; but I came across one of the "what"s it worth" postings and our late poster Hugh MacKay has some sage advice, hope you enjoy it. I would appreciate some info, maybe someone has paper products that list/describe fast-hitch rotary mowers models/sizes, etc. I see sometime folks refer to them as stalk choppers also. At RPRU last summer, I passed on a three-point IH rotary mower. There are also the cutter bar models. I ponder something behind my 1958 Farmall 340 as I like to see implements attached to tractors at shows...so, your input would be appreciated...also and ponderings you care to share. Enjoy you day folks.

I have the owners manual for the No. 25 Rotary Cutter from the mid to late fifties. It came in both trailing and two point configurations. If you want, i can scan some of the two point pages when i'm at work this week and send them to you. Joe

JoeVT; could you put the fast-hitch pages on this site so others could benefit also? Maybe under one of the 'Galleries' links so that the stuff doesn't disappear after so long, as photos do on this board. Thanks for your reply.

I have also posted these in the implement gallery. The trailing model is the No. 25, the 2-pt hitch for the SC, 300 & 400 was the model 2CK-FTC25 and the model for the utilities was 34U-FTC25. They were made from 1955 thru 1959.
