Surfing the SD CraigsList last evening. Pretty nice Super H there, 22 miles away. Called and made an appointment to see it this morning.
Straight tin, total out-frame engine rebuild 10 hours ago. Rolling drawbar, no welds, IH tie rods behind WFE, fenders, wrong lights, steering a little sloppy, flip over seat, brakes, what brakes? One new rear firestone tire, label still on it. No Donaldson. A Dec 53 Stage II
Gave the man his asking price of $2150. He said he had received more than 20 calls after mine, I was first, I guess an hour after he posted it.And he had been "advised" by a number of callers who tried to jump in that he was selling too cheap.
Oh, and he is going to deliver it Saturday.
What do you think?
He also has a Super M for sale. Engine apart, needs one cylinder done.Head all dne by NAPA.

Those guys that call up after the fact, make me so mad. There is no need to tell the guy that, after all you gave him his asking price.I guess they are just mad, cause they didn't get the deal. Have fun with your SH. Congratulations on your purchase.
 
Don't know anything about an H but Happy Birthday next week and have a good one.

I always worry about a faulty rebuild when I see anything being sold after a rebuild. You never get the money spend for the rebuild out of a sale. It only make sense to rebuild one that you want to keep.

I turned 38 today. Got a manifold heat shield from a Cowboard friend, and another cowboarder is going to fix it up for me. Terrific present. I even got some birthday money to buy some primer finally. :lol:
