Need Good/Bad info about IH 250 Ind. tractor....

There is a good looking 1980 IH 250 coming up for auction. Haven't actually saw it except for a couple of picts of sides and rear. It has a dsl,3pt, 540 pto, appears to be a factory IH loader. Does it have ind. pto, what for hydraulic outlets at the rear, what is the HP, guessing around 60, any thing I need to look out for with this model? Need some thing to use with a 8' JD rotary mower around the yard and get under trees, etc. But still have a tractor with some power. How strong are the front ends? It has a pretty good sized bucket on it that looks to be factory. Any info would be great!! Thanks Dan

The 240/250/260 series was the last version of industrial loader/backhoe tractors produced before International sold out to Case and Dresser. They had Deutz engines from Germany and were assembled in the south somewhere like Georgia or Alabama. Front axles were very heavy duty with cast I-beam crossmembers and wide front tires. If I remember correctly they had a hydraulic forward and reverse lever on the dash for easy loader work. They used ether injection for cold starting. I can't think of any negatives.
