Super c engine Vs. 140

I was wondering if there was any different at all in the 140 engine and the super c engine. becuase i am having trouble lining up the pulleys of my c with an engine out of a 140.

I think you answered your own question: Yes, apparently there is at least one difference.

Why not transfer the front crankshaft pulley from the Super C engine to the 140 engine? Then the pulleys should line up.

i think the water pump and front of the block/head are different.

look up c-123 on caseih parts site you should see most of the variations of the same engine over the years.
