Super M - Serial number code of G

My understanding is that a Code G on a Super M would mean cotton picker tractor attachment. Can someone let me know what changes where made to the tractor or in what way it looks different than a regular Super M. Thanks

The only difference you would notice with the tractor set up for regular tractor operation would be; flange type rear axle housings and a two piece gear shift lever. Both of these items may have been removed from the tractor over the years, and if so you will not notice anything different. The only other things it MIGHT have that I can think of are; silver paint under the hood and a starter solonoid.

Listen to what Harold H says, he was in the Mississippi Delta when these were used. I have a 53 model that came with a high-drum cotton picker attachment. The right angle exhaust would be used only with the picker attached.
