OT Snow in the Sunny South

It is snowing now, 7 AM Tuesday March 2nd, and the roof tops and grass are already white. We are forcast to get one to three inches. I don't know when spring will get here. I believe this has been one of the coldest winters on record in north Georgia. So much for the farce of "global warming".

Harold, Well it"s about time other people are getting some snow.
We have plenty in upstate New York and more on the way this week.
We can truck some down to you if you don"t have enough to make a good snowman. LOL

I just saw on the news this morning that there are parts of the lower peninsula (MI) recieved 51.6 inches in February alone.

“U.S. Data Since 1895 Fail To Show Warming Trend”

The headline in the New York Times 21 years ago — Jan. 26, 1989 to be exact — read: “U.S. Data Since 1895 Fail To Show Warming Trend.”

The story said, “After examining climate data extending back nearly 100 years, a team of Government scientists has concluded that there has been no significant change in average temperatures or rainfall in the United States over that entire period. While the nation’s weather in individual years or even for periods of years has been hotter or cooler and drier or wetter than in other periods, the new study shows that over the last century there has been no trend in one direction or another.

“The study, made by scientists for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration was published in the current issue of Geophysical Research Letters. It is based on temperature and precipitation readings taken at weather stations around the country from 1895 to 1987.”

Now, that is just in the United States of course. Maybe there is some sort of global warming shield over the USA. But one would think that if all this carbon dioxide the USA creates were harmful, we would harm ourselves first. And of course, James Hansen at NASA told the Times the Earth’s temperature went up a whopping 1 degree over a century’s time.

Add to it that Climatologist Phil Jones admitted recently to the BBC that there has been no significant change in the temperatures over the past 15 years and you have Global Samening.

Here's a picture of one of the blizzards that hit MD. Still have snow on the ground. We were hit once in Dec and twice in Feb. The snow that hit NY just missed us. I'm glad it did as it was too wet to use the blower. Hal
