1944 m 6 voilts ( crank still works)

i need another starter button ! we checked all wiring with meater, new battery,had starter checked out. now i need to go to the ih store or farm & fleet, they both are from across the pond.

any thought??? this will be my #2 button i buy in 3 months

Make sure your ground connection to the chassis is real clean. A 6 volt system has to have heavy battery cables.

If the button you buy is the same as the one that lasted a short time, you are buying the same problem. A high current starter button can be found from several sources, not just a fake replacement. (unless you are trying to keep it 100% like it was made.) Good luck. Jim
