86 series tilt steering wheel

Has anyone installed the factory tilt steering kit in a 86 series tractor? Are the kits still available? Cost? Thanks

i did not know they made one for 86 tractots.the 56/66 were junk. i changed my 1256 back to nontilt!used parts from 806,they bolted right up

I don't know what it would take to put one in but I know my neighbors late model 1586 (red side panel) has tilt steering in it, and i think the whole steering shaft moves up and down not just the wheel like the 66 series. My 1586 is an 80 and does not have tilt. His cab is the western interior, i don't know if these then had the tilt steering. If you could find a dash, hardware, and steering colomn from a salvage yard i would think they would interchange, but i don't know for sure. His steering wheel is different also.

Yes put one on a 1086 from the 50 series.
