Hi I have a 966 in my shop that the seal on the clutch actuator rod is leaking in. Can anyone tell me shat kind of seal that is. I was painting the tractor and I had that rod from the pedal disconnected and I guess that rod hanging on the seal made it start leaking because it didnt leak prior to me having it disconnected. I need to deliver it tomorrow and if it is an o-ring I will possibly have one to fit it. Thanks for any help.

They are O/rings , and easy fix . I run a brake hone with fine stones on it to break the glaze and wash it out with hot soapy water till ya see it starting to rust before your eyes blow off and coat it with hy tran and and pit it together .

I cant find a parts breakdown on it can you help me with how to get it apart without making to much of a mess on the fresh paint? Thanks for your reply.

I guess I should have said I found a breakdown on it but it was not the system that is on this tractor. This one has a valve on the side of the transmission housing. It kinda reminds me of a valve body from an automatic transmission.

I appoligize Tractor Vet I told you wrong I went out and looked at it again and I see what you were talking about and it looks like what will be an easy repair after looking at it and picturing what you said to do. I really appreciate your help. If I have trouble I will post again in the next couple hours. Thank you kindly.

I got it fixed thank you Tractor Vet. The info you gave me was exactly what I needed to get the job done and now I can deliver it tomorrow. Much appreciated.
