farmall H estimate

whats a farmall h worth,it hasnt run in a few yrs all original complete with fenders and dual fuel opt. original paint ect. not sure of year?????

Well if factory fenders that bring it up some since few and far between had them. Not running brings it down. So then I have a parts H listed for $400 and it has not sold for years. I also have a Good running one that needs rear tires for $600 and had it for years and a couple others up to $950 and they have not sold but they run. So then what is your worth not much at least in my area. The H is common as dirt and they do not bring much but like I said if factory fenders those by them self's are worth more then the rest of the tractor. Sad to say but true

I had a 42 model H , That I rebuilt the engine on. reworked head by machine shop, Crank machined , All new rod and main bearings, Pistons, Rings and liners. It ran like a top when finished I paid 600.00 for it in Ohio . It was running when I bought it but smoked. I had about 1500.00 total invested in it. I decided to sell it at auction a few years later, It brought 600.00. Lots of H's out there , And as you can see I lost a ton of money on Mine. In my area yours would probably bring four or five hundred dollars.

I gave $1000 for a 1950 with brand new tires all around. It runs like a top and straight as an arrow. I bought it 1 year ago.

Up here in Minnesota I see H's go for anywhere between 600-1700 dollars. Believe me, if someone wants the will pay the price. I bought my H in St. Cloud for 1100 bucks, runs great and straight as can be.

a friend of my dads has it and he dont want it so i was curious what to offer. I dont really need it already have a 47h and a 51md but if the pricce is right.

I gave $400 for the same tractor, Distillate, fenders, had not run recently, Usable tires, etc. sounds like about the same condition.

Not running and/or bad tires is what will bring the price down.

Around Houston that sounds like a $4-500 tractor. I have a 52 H that is in all around good running shape that I've listed for sale at $1500.00 for about a year and it hasn't sold yet. I have $1500 + all my time in it. I'll keep it till it brings that. Maybe someday the H's will appreciate I'll get it sold.

I have had several Theisens in classes(SCSU), they seem to be a substantial portion of the SC population. Central MN is a good place to be. Jim
