OT: kitchen/parts book counter

If I were fortunate again to have a member of the opposite gender (I see I can't use the three letter word for this) under the roof, I probably couldn't get away with this for very long. Ya see, I needed room to compare Farmall 340 to International 460 fenders...no, they don't match, but...I want correct fenders for the 460, but...well I know I bought it without the right fenders but...but...

I take some serious chances with my wife (of 28 years)!

A while back I had to mount a new ring gear on this BBC truck engine flywheel. I have a range in the shop just for the purpose of heating ring gears so they'll drop in place on the flywheel.

HOWEVER, I haven't used it for a while, and it would take some serious cleaning up of the back of the shop to even get to it, so I took advantage of SWMBO being at work morning, and used hers!

Her oven mitts worked well, too.

HOWEVER, I had to bribe the 10-y-o not to tell her!

Looks like my house. I have parts and books everywhere.
My wife will walk up to me and say "What is in my kitchen sink" ????
Another line I hear often is "How long is that going to be on my counter"??????
