I was talking to my buddy who welded the puller together for me and he asked a good question. Could you run the tractor and get it good and warm to help pull the injectors? Everything is cast so heat should effect it easily.

that may help, i would say you need every little bit
of help you can get, mine were stuck in there from
just being in there 2 years...

Don't know about the running before removing, never tried. If you made a puller something like I mentioned in another post. Made my slider so heavy its a pain to hold it with one hand and run the bolts down in the body by myself. also the rods long enough to get the full stroke of the arms. Even that heavy there's been a few I thought the head or body would crack before they came out. Most I removed take 1 to 5 strokes. If they don't even move after a few, there in there. Tip for the bad ones the plate needs to be heavy enough to stay flate or you take the chance of bending the ears on the body. If needed I run a tap through the body threads and use good grade bolts with a full thread in the body. to snug plate down.

I think my puller is somewhat similar to yours. It is a piece of heavy flat with two holes 2" apart. I then took a 14" small pipe and welded it to the plate. I found a pipe that sleeved that and then one more that snug fit over the other handle. This gave me a little more weight. I then welded a washer on the top so I didn't smash my hand.
I didn't grind it to contour the injector bc I made it when I wasn't near the tractor. I used two grade eight bolts to get down to the NBR.
Do you think it is better to remove the nozzle before you start hammering on the NBR? Can you put a big wrench on the hex portion of the nozzle and twist it? If not, my puller can just bolt on to the nozzle and bang it out.
