Farmhand loader

Will a Farmhand trip bucket loader currently on an H (18 inch wide frame) be mounted on an M (20 inch wide frame)? It doesn't necessarily appear there is that kind of flexibility when unbolted?

Anything can be made to fit on anything else if you're willing to do enough welding but..... I don't know in your case. I hope someone who is wiser will give you an answer.

width is easy, you just find spacers one inch thick per side. length i cannot recall what it is between H and M, but most implements made for one were meant to be used on both by changing one or two mount points and spacing the frame. our mccormick loader has 2 different holes for the front braces that are only 1 or 2 inches difference depending on H or M.

If you found installation instructions you'll likely find the difference in mounting the two is right there in front of you, but is too simple to figure out. it's a rule related to murphy's law :)

He's going from narrow (H) to wide (M). Spacers will make the problem worse.

Look to see if there are any spacers you can REMOVE.

Maybe a mounting plate that's offset and can be flipped over?

Normally those old loaders were made to fit either tractor.
