I was told my 460 ih takes 10 gallons of hy tran fluid because it operates the bucket and the trany. Does this sound right??? Any opinions of this tractor good or bad. It is my first tractor with a bucket and I am trying to get as much knoledge as possible. I have driven many tractors like this, but i have never owned one. Where is the fill for the trany/hyd. Thanks for any info

My newly acquired International 460 takes ~10 gallons of hytran fluid. To fill, look to the left of the shift lever; there is a receded square plug that is removed. Others who know may chime in as to the capacity required for a loader.

As Al says 10 gal is the capacity of the system, excluding any extra for the loader.
