Hey guys! I know alot of you highly recommend the Steel Wheel Ranch for parts so I am wanting to give them a call. Trouble is I work nights so my schedule makes it hard to get ahold of people. Anyway, wondering if the number listed on the website is an office/business number or if it is a house number. If I knew that it would give me a better idea of when to call. Thanks!

I believe that's only the office number. Although Mike does live right there next to the shop so he's sometimes there pretty late.
You can also reach him on Saturdays at times.

Mike is a great guy to work with. Some think he's a little tight...he'll charge for every used nut and bolt he sells but the way I see it he has time spent in taking everything apart. Plus his prices on new parts are cheaper than anyone I've seen. If you have a Steiner catalog he'll be under any of those prices.

That's the way I run my business too. Expect to pay for everything of value I give you but the flip side of it is that I don't charge you for what you don't need and I keep my prices below my competitors.

All that being said there is many a penny out there with my fingerprints engraved in it. No speculation about whether I am tight with a coin or not.

I've ordered from him since 2002, even bought a tractor from him. His parts prices are as fair as you will find, and cheaper than most. The number is an office number. He usually does not have help, thus spends most of the day on the phone, but also has to take time to gather and pack parts, etc. He is available Saturday but not Sunday.
