Vent tube on head H/M/Etc

Should the vent tube be reused? The fittings apear to be compression fittings and the tube gets squeezed where they were tightened at the factory. Will air/oil leaks develop if they are reused? What is the proper procedure?

As long as the threads on thefittings are good, Ive reused them.

The tube never stayed tight in the nut on the two that I reused. Just wondering what others are doing.
