450 LP Head

Hi guys... How do I tell if the head on my 450LP is the proper replacement head? I can't find a number on it anywhere. Thanks, Dan.

The part number is under the valve cover. LP people will explain how to tell W/O pulling the cover. (I do not know), but I do remember there were external indicators. Jim

On left side of screen click on parts & pieces. when you get to that page put lp head in search box, when the search page comes up click on 450 lp head. See how it looks above the intake and exhaust passages. Easy to tell from other heads for that series tractors. Without looking to make sure I think the head # is 362586.
