450 input shaft

I am having the clutch redone on my 450 and the input shaft has some wear on the splines. Should this be something to worry about or is that normal.

It is both normal and something to worry about. Replace the shaft. I would also replace the PTO drive tube as well, as they tend to wear and strip out. Splitting twice to rerepair is a drag. Jim

I guess it depends on your tolerance for perfection. If you want new click on the link below. I have seen them $40 cheaper but you are still getting a deal at $125 plus shipping. This is for the gear and tube. Email them for availability on the inner shaft.

If it doesn't work go to eBay and search on IPTO.
