farmall 300 utility tractor

can anyone tell me if you can add a pto to a 300 farmall? it has a bolt on cover where the pto would normally be. thanks

PTO can be added, but they used more than one type. Depending on how your tractor is equiped now would have influence on the type needed or what other pto drive parts may be needed. If you could post any letters after the tractor serial number, a more detailed answer to your question is possible.

Some were ordered with provision for TA and IPTO
Some were TA delete with provision for non live PTO. Or with No provision for TA or PTO and I think it could be had with IPTO and No TA. IF it had a TA it will be likely to be able to be equipped with a IPTO. Best of luck, Those serial number characters are important. Jim

There is one more option. A TA equipped tractor with a transmission driven PTO.
