Well the man with the super A I'd talked about for 600 called today and got 725 for it, I told him no problem that was better than I could do, with the head off antifreeze in the oil,motor stuck, one bad tire and lose steering,I told him he did very well.

You did fine by NOT getting it for $600, Rick. They'll be another - and it probably will be a better specimen, too. mike

You did well. Keep looking and a better deal will come up. I just pd $500.00 for a barn kept 53 Super C with: fasthitch, mounted planter, cultivator, and tool bar for the bedders, no bedders

. Motor was stuck and front tires rotten. I soaked the motor for a couple weeks while I pulled the pan and cleaned, rebuilt the carb,cleaned the air filter and the rest of the typical routine maintenence issues. By the time I got all that done and put a fresh battery in the motor was loose. It fired right up. Around here that tractor is worth about 1500.00 just because it runs.
