Trying to split engine from tranny on a 1927, 10-20 Deering. All dowels and bolts removed but engine will only slide ahead about 1/2 to 1 inch.
Clutch plates separate when you depress clutch and engine will turn over without spinning input shaft to tranny.
Wondering if we are missing some internal pin or bolt, or if there is something to do with the throw out bearing. Any suggestions are welcomed!!!

there is a coupler at the trans.end to unbolt and then slide the shaft towards flywheel. the clutch unit stays on flywheel as engine is lifted out.

Still a fight after that. Watch out for a little oil tube elbow on the right front corner. I broke mine off.
