If the numbers and letters are from the hub of the distributor housing, where the 2 mounting clamps go. A is the code for a IH distributor that came with a 40 degree total advance. K is the code for month built, november. 1 is the code for year built, 1951. That distributor was # 353890R91. 357935R91 was used on SA serial # 349320 and higher and used 30 degrees total advance. 353898 is the distributor housing # used on a bunch of tractors.

Looked at the units, looks like for 12 volt negative ground, number 1442 this site. Never used one so hopfully someone that has will post.
In the other post after A K 1 is the distributor serial #.

353890R91 is the dist. on my 1966 140 and I installed #1442 from this site in 2006. I am very happy. Trouble free, starts and runs better than it ever did before, and caps and rotors last much longer than they used to. Only con is what do you do when it dies--I saved my points, etc. and everything I need to go back in a hurry is under the seat in a baggie.

Installation was easy, although details are a little fuzzy as it has been a few years. Make sure your coil or coil plus resistor is correct for the unit--I think it was minimum 3 ohms.
