Mornin'; snow (I love it) and wind and dark, 19F this a.m. Anyone able to send me in the right direction (that would be a task) for a no-longer-produced gasket; 372 945 R1, page 44 in my parts book. '59 gas International w/rectangular air cleaner 371 374 R91. Much of the packing in the assembly was rust powder so I have new on order. Without the gasket though, air will take the path of least resistance, above the cup assembly - kinda like a Norwegian taking a shoveled path today in Wisconsin. Thanks in advance for any input. p.s. thanks federal gov't. for taking the rest of the week off - less damage done then.

I guess I am not familiar with that air cleaner set-up. What kind of a gasket is it? O-ring style, flat paper? Cork? Maybe you could make one?

I would think that you could make a gasket with sticky rubber tape. They sell diffrent sizes of tape. Just cut it to size, and stick it to the cup and there you have your gasket. ORR you could cut it out of a cork gasket sheet. I think the rubber tape would work best IMO.
