Thanks for sharing. It is fun running these old tractors. I have two C's and it is fun cultivating my brother's potato patch with them. Looks like your painter might have forgotten to paint the steering wheel and shaft. :>) Randy

One of my cultivators have them. I have about 3 1/2 sets of cultivators. The one with the hillers on it we use to cultivate the potatoes with. It makes nices hills and does a good job on the grass and weeds, not that my brother's patch would have grass and weeks in it. Ha! Ha! I have one cultivator in pieces in my basement waiting for me to sandblast and paint it. Just takes time and motavation.

I be the villain that did not finish the paint job. In the past I have cleaned and painted a little at time using a brush on a grinder to clean the old paint and rust. I was not careful to avoid the dust and got what appeared to be lead poising. Chelation treatment for 6-months and the painting has been delayed. The rear half still needs painting and now I am broke in this economy.

I have 4 disk hillers, but 2 of the 4 need new six hole disk. I have seen them for sale and I will get them as soon as the economy picks up.

I am a believer now! Do cover up when you sandblast. Shower off as soon as you are finished and wash your clothes. OH! Sandblasting is supposed to be done outside, not in the basement. The dust will get to everyone in the house. Lead sickness is bad.
