6 bolt hubs for M wide front end

To: Bernie Steffen and sd pete
You guys said you had used 560 hubs on a M factory wide front with some shimming. Do you recall what you used for the shim material and how thick it was?

Dick I have a friend that runs a machine shop and I took the hubs and the spindles to him. He made the shims for me. I don't know what they measured. He made them real tight cause I had to shrink them on the spindle. I am real pleased with the result. Rusty Farmall can furnish aftermarket hubs to do the same thing. ABout 90 dollars apiece as I recall. Luck Bernie Steffen

I had this done 30 years ago. and the ol M is no longer here. I had a machinist do it. I can"t remember the cost on it either. But it worked good for me.

Actually, those hubs are just under $100. They"ll be on your doorstep 2 days after you order them.
