super m front tires size

I have been looking at some pics of M's some look like they have bigger front tires. will a 16-7.50 fit? is there any adavanage over 16-6.00 I like the look of the taller wider tire.

I recently replaced the stock 6.00 x 16's with 6.50's on my NF Super M.

The 6.50's are a very tight fit - I doubt 7.50's can make it.

Like Bob said you cant use 7.5's on the front they are considerable larger then a 6.5's. the only way you can run that size is by having them on a wide front. In fact i have the 7.5's on my Super MD and they look good with 14.9's in the rear; the tractor sits level.

6:00 x 16 is best size for tricycle front SM. 6:50 x 16 will also work. Anything larger than that will be too large. If you have a wide front end you can go larger if you want to.

What wfe do you have on yoour SMD? I have an IH wfe (tie rods in back) on my SMTA. Tractor has 14.9x38 rears & with 6:50x16s on the front it sits high to the front. Tractor was originally nfe & it would sit level with the 6:50s.

The wfe came with 7:50x16s & I took them off after putting the wfe on the SMTA because they made the front sit too high IMO.

ON my two other SMs & M I have 6:00x16s in conjunction with 13.6x38 rears & tractors are level.

I have the factory wide front with rods out in the front. ill post a pic of it latter.

Thanks for the pic. That's a good looking SMD. Hard to tell from the angle but my SMTA appears to sit higher in the front with the 6:50s
