Rear wheel weights

I did a search and came up empty, so I thought I would ask. Can anyone give me the long and short concerning after-market rear weights? I bought 2 sets of weights, 3 were after-market and 1 is IHC. The only diiference I can see is the size of the center hole. They seem to weight the same although I haven't weighed them. Did I get a good deal getting 4 weights for $150?

I guess it depends where you are.I have sold serveral at $10 each but today $20 each would be the going price. It look's to me that anything east of OHIO get's pretty pricey. You are restricted to buying local as the freight would eat up the money you saved buying far away. I live in West Alton,Mo. 20 miles north of St.Louis. Good luck Gene

You didn't get a steal, but you didn't get hosed. In WI you can get standard IH wheel weights for $50-$75.

Thanks for the replies. You're right WARR it seems the prices do jump to the east. Here in MD I've seen weights for much more than $50. I thought I was getting a good deal, but I didn't know the value of the after-market weights. I guess as long as I didn't get screwed. Thanks again.

I paid $100 a pair here about a month ago for the one-piece Farmall weights. It was the lowest price I've seen around.

The real buy was the two pairs of Wheatland weights Dad got for $100.

If you got two pairs for $150, I'd say you're doing pretty well.

Hello Gene, Hey do you have any more rear weights for sale? I'm just over here north of Columbia, up by Moberly, I have a 1466 that I would like to get some rear weights for. Could you shoot me an email and let me know, I would REALLY appreciate it. God bless!
Best wishes,
Jeff
