600/650 rear axle

what is the axle like on the wheel end? splined/ taperd? need info so i can make 9 bolt hubs for them. A pic would be nice. thanks joe

Why would you want nine hole hubs and steel wheels on a 600 or 650? Both 26" cast wheels and 34" cast wheels are readly available if you want to change from one of these sizes to the other. All 9 series, 600, and 650 have same rear axles.

Just remove the capscrew threaded into end of axle. The cast iron "hubcap" will fall off and the axle can be measured. It is six splined and approximately 3.5" dia. Sorry, but I ain't going out to measure when you could do the same.

1. I build custom hubs so i dont ask why they want them. 2. If i had a tractor handy to measure i wouldnt be on here bothering you good people. thanks joe
