Worked on my H today that has not run for some time. It starts and runs for 2 or 3 seconds and than kind of bacfires through the carb and dies. Start it up again and it does the same thing again. Pulling on the chook helps a little but it dies. What do I need to look at or change? Thanks

Did you check to see how raunchy the gas is? If your fuel is old, it may have become too volatile. I'd drain and refuel then keep working with it. You might have an intake valve being a little sticky and causing the carb backfire. Have you cleaned out your carb yet?

I put new gas in the tank and had the carb apart and blew it out.

It sounds like you are running out of fuel.

Take the drain plug out of the float bowl and see if you get a steady stream of fuel pouring out. If not, you could have crud in the fuel tank blocking the sediment bowl, the screen on the fuel inlet of the carb could be plugged, or your float / float valve is stuck.
