Farmall A Head Torque

I know that there was a revision to torque the Farmall C head to 80 ft-lbs instead of 65, but is that the case with the Farmall A's as they are the same engine basically? Roger

Yep, 80 by stages, with a retorque after a warm run. With a few minor but important variations (like OD and other dimensions of the sleeves) at the time they switched to the larger displacement from the factory, the 113 and 123 are basically the same block and motor.
